I decided to support my local venue by having a few bevvies, so caught the bus.

Ronnie, Paul and I were discussing next season's Calderdale Handicap, I foolishly suggested relegation wouldn't be bad, hope nobody thought I was trying to throw my game.

I was in serious trouble when I went for my third, checked the games on my way  back decided the final score would be 3-2(wins for Robert, Nick and Paul)how wrong could I be?

Nick won, and then Gordon offered me a draw, he will have to stop feeling sorry for me. 11/2-1/2.

Mike won on board five 11/2-11/2, still winning on the even nos so okay.Suddenly a fightback from Angel and Kharim, but Robert prevailed.

Hi Nick, that was my opinion, though Gordon seemed to think he had to take the perpetual and Kharim thought I was winning?!
