I've just been through a few of my lost games using the retry thingy, now all of a sudden I'm finding the best moves, very annoying I couldn't do that during the games

We're going to be building out some more documentation and explanation for sure. Pre-game prediction is simply a "best guess" about the most likely result, given the players' initial ratings / past performance.

Brilliant is a little trickier: This is a Best move, that additionally, the engine deems particularly hard to find.
