i know nothing about the english opening but smth that applies to every opening is that you should stick to the setup that suits your playing the most, the one you feel more comfortable with and understand better, so with that in mind it should be a little easier for you to pick a setup
Can someone help me learn the english opening and which setup i should play? (there are many setups)

ok thank you for telling me this

I'm tilting with the English rn...😥😥
I don't think playing the english is good for your level. I'm 1600 and still rarely encounter it

It literally does not matter. Everybody will suggest something different because it's all up to personal preference. Stop worrying about the opening and start worrying about getting better at playing actual chess. Just pick one and stick with it.

exactly nobody knows how to play against it and my coach said that it is a good opening

it rlly doesnt matter at your level, you can find sucess with any opening. Just pick one and stick to it, and be sure to actully know the ideas of the opening. If you are just blitzing out those moves without consideration for what your opponent is doing and the moveorder then that isnt good.

if this is called Botvinnik then 80% of the time it ends up as Botvennik, although after 1.c4, d5, 2 cxd5, it ends up as the Anglo-Scandinavian Defense. But I think it's less common than, for example, ..e5, so idk but I think most English games end up in the Botvinnik config. lol
go for the Botvinnik triangle. this way, you can attack kingside or queenside depening o where your opponent castles.
for example there is the botvinnik setup and then there is a setup with light square bishop fianchetto and Knights on c3 and d2 with pawn on d3 and c4 and also four knights setup etc
