Also i think an NCV with +2 or more get declined could be played in arenas by making it a WoF
Candidate Voting for Accepting any WoFs as Casual

Also i think an NCV with +2 or more get declined could be played in arenas by making it a WoF
NCVs and WoFs are completely different variants; WoFs are meant to be played with a bullet or hyperbullet time control. You can't switch, say a 10|20 variant like Qiang-Xiangqi to be played as a bullet variant, because it would be really, really unplayable.

counter argument (prepare for long-ish yap):
If a variant was declined, it was declined for a reason. Of course that doesn't stop you from playing the game as a custom game, but declination probably means the game isn't fit to be in arenas. (I think it would be better for good rated WoFs to be in official arenas rather than meh casual WoFs, no?)
"encourages people from not only focusing on the big title "Declined", and let them create more"
A declination is not supposed to de-motivate you from creating variants: it is instead to tell you what went wrong (there are reasons for decline messages). If a variant already has +2 from official votes yet still got declined then that simply means the variant has potential, but there are some issues which can easily be fixed via revisions.
This is not a bad idea per se, but I just think that the Variants server should have the best variants that the CV club can make.

welp, if one variant gets verdict when it already got +2, it should always be Pending Reply, decline just means a longer and major change need to be made(eg Serendipity). WoFs are hard to reach that major change, so there won't be too much variant like that.
also if a wof gets +2 and declined, it means this concept is good, it does make sense to play without losing ratings.

no, what we do is PR if the majority +1ed for PR, not if a minority of testers think it is cool
"decline just means a longer and major change need to be made"
The idea of PR is that a variant that only needs a VERY minor revision to be accepted, so we can change it for the creator (e.g. changing queen to chancellor or something else minor).
"also if a wof gets +2 and declined, it means this concept is good, it does make sense to play without losing ratings."
Like I said in the other post, I think that the Variants server should have the best variants that there can be instead of lots of meh casual variants.

We all know there are accepted WoFs(Wheel of Fortune) variants and they are weekly updated in special arenas. Some variants are good, but most of them are declined. But, why they cannot be played with a name casually instead of randomly searching a game called "Sideways Custom Position Hill Game of Points"?
That's why i suggested this. It could be linked to a former suggestion called "Custom Names for Custom Variants"(idrk), but only for pending accepted wofs. If a single WoF get +2 or more positive vote(No matter how many 0s and -1s exists) but still declined, CGAs may post a vote for that if people like to play it casually. Then it will be "half-accepted" and could be played in the arena, but only casual.
This may let players' variants being more worthy, encourages people from not only focusing on the big title "Declined", and let them create more.
Bot and player versus Bot and Player cannot be accepted this way.
bro stole my username

as far as i know, a declination or two is enough to stop someone, especially new guys
Not to sound mean or anything, but if you can't deal with a bunch of guys saying 'this is not good enough, but you can fix it like this' to your variant then you are definitely not fit to be a variant creator or deal with a lot of things in general. Most variants on the variant server were revised at least once, because not everyone gets it right on the first try

Lol, look at me who submitted knightchess at the beginning, and look at where I am now.
Just never stop dreaming and never give up.
