On mobile, when you try to open the message panel, it often opens the last read (or last received, it's unclear) message, and for admins it's often the chess.com account that is sending notification. Then you have to scroll all the way to the top, battling the auto-refresh-loading, to tap the arrow that brings you back to the inbox. Plus, due to the auto-reload of messages, it's almost impossible to write a message to someone you sent more than 20 messages or so.

This. The flashing screen makes it impossible to scroll to the top of the page.
I'm not able to go to Home>Messages on a phone though (using the mobile browser). I am really struggling to see messages on a phone. The android app is of limited help.
What do you mean you can't go there?
The behavior I'm seeing is that it will load your last received message and you should be able to click the < arrow to get to your inbox.
Yes, as others say the flashing is a major problem on mobile browsers. Makes messaging about impossible by itself.
However when I get to the send message page, there's no < arrow at all. Following screenshot shows what happens when I click on any of the message notifications. No way to navigate away to get the list of people to message. This is Chrome on Android.

As others have reported, clicking any message received notification takes me here. So I can't read any messages on Android.

You should be able to view by using Home > Messages or removing /compose from the URL. Until the issue is fixed
I am now owner of another club. Admins are dropping like flies here due to club issues and site problems and mutings. We need some stability.
Certanly is a bug, today there are too bugs, also in vote chess time indication and in private messages…

Yeah, thanks. That takes me to the last person who messaged me. Happens to be a very long list of messages from that person so I get the flashing screen and impossible to scroll to the top to get to the 'back' < button.
