CC25 Knockout Cup

The 2025 Cup is now open for registration. As last year, the event will start in August 2024. Registration will close on July 30th. 

In addition the clubs already registered for the cup will be automatically entered into the 2025 Open league set to start in December. So if you are already one of the teams in the CC25 cup there is no need to register again for the Open League CC25. Registration for the teams so far not registered must take place no later than 26 November.

I expect similar numbers to what we had in CC24 probably between 40 and 49 entries.

Rounds will be announced on 31st July, with some teams likely to get a bye to round 2 (once we get an idea of numbers). Depending on entries further byes might be granted to teams by using their finishing position in the 2023 league table. The remaining teams will enter in round 1. Round 1 due to start on August 14th 2024.

The minimum number of players per matches will remain the same as last year. In round one the minimum will be 6. In all other rounds the minimum will be 8.

****Once a player plays for a team in the 2025 Cup that will be their designated team for all competitions in 2025 including the rated limited leagues eg. U1600 & U1300.
