Challenge suggestions?

Hi, thought I'd open a topic on challenges - whether new challenges are wanted, if people have ideas on WHO we should challenge, and whether we should open new team matches, vote matches, or both. And how many.

I'm looking at a couple of potential teams to challenge - "Team Lutheran" would fit our religion-challenge-theme nicely, and I thought it would be appropriate for the Godless to challenge "Chess Goddess" - who knows, maybe they can make believers out of us.

So, what do you think? Eager to participate in new challenges?

Just challenged the Chess Goddess for a team match, and The Lutheran for a vote chess match.

Chess Goddess seems to have canceled the challenge after initially accepting it - don't know why. Perhaps their memebers had too much on their plates to participate.

The vote chess match against The Lutheran has started though.

Noticed that the "Chess Goddess" has become "Chess Goddesses", and this makes me suspect that perhaps the name-change caused the system to automatically cancel challenges that were under the old name. So I dropped the group leader a note, asking whether this was the case, and told her we're happy to re-issue the challenge, if indeed the cancellation was not intentional. Guess we'll know soon enough.

Chess Goddesses is "Chess Goddess" once again - and the switching apparently was the cause of the challenge cancellation. New challenge has been sent.

Goddesses move in mysterious ways...

*sigh* The Chess Goddess challenge has been cancelled again. Have no idea what's going on. I think I'll wait to see whether they contact us - it seems pointless for me to keep challenging them, them accepting, and then cancelling.

At my university's atheist club, called "godless", we got mail from the bank as "the goddess club" for almost a year :P
