Hi. I’m trying to change my email address. It’s an account created using a Google account with a Gmail address. I’d like to change the email address so I’m no longer tied to a Google account, but I can’t seem to do it. I’m not receiving any confirmation emails from the new email address that would allow me to activate the link. What should I do?
You'll probably need to contact Support directly using the option in the menu
I suppose you speak about the menu with a “?” icon. I did it, ask, but connexion not authorized or doesn’t work

I still can’t get it to work. Too bad. This is the only site where I have trouble changing my email address. But three attempts a day to change my email address isn’t very many. Each time, I have to wait until the next day. It would be good to specify from what time you can try again. And why am I getting the message “support.chess.com n’autorise pas la connexion”, in approximative english : “support.chess.com doesn’t allow the connection” ?
I changed my email address that I had on my account on here not very long ago and didn’t have any issues at all. I’m adding a couple screenshots showing how I did it, though I did it on pc browser, if that has any relevance.
click the gear icon at the bottom left in order to go to your settings screen
Once on settings page, click on the account tab…
Then right below the change password section, is the account contact info section, which should all be pretty intuitive once you’ve arrived to this point. Again, I did it on the website using pc, so I don’t know if using the app or on mobile would add some kind of issues, or if you’re even using mobile, just thought I’d include that in case
