I while I was playing, my opponent sends the blunder emoji in chat, and then is confused why I haven't moved, as it turns out they said they moved but I was waiting for them to move on my screen, so we were in a softlock scenario, except when the game ended I gained elo, I'm confused why it wasn't working, plus it sadly led my opponent to think i was a Tricheur or cheater in English.

If I get a reward for let's say, completing my 100th game on chess.com and chess.com gives me a reward or 1-week free premium, when the week ends, does it keep going (While being a paid membership) or does it just deactivate? I wanted to post this on the chess.com community club but their posting way is longer, so I decided to post it here.

Chrome Version 147.0.7727.138  MacBook Air Tahoe 26.3.1 ISSUE #1 (NO SAVE INDICATOR): When annotating during Daily Game or even later in engine, there is no indication that the Analysis has been modified because the SAVE can be out of sight below. I've many times hit the 'exit Analysis' button instead, losing all my work and I'm sure I'm not the only one. At least I can view multiple moves while working, unlike when in Review (next shot below): ISSUE #2 (NO VIEWING SPACE): During Review, I only get to see 1.5 moves at a time. Oh PLEASE move Coach up so we can see more move lines. BTW, I'm displaying entire screen on this next screenshot so you have clear indicator of layout space. In both situations, it makes no difference if I'm Full Screen or not. I realize Development team is still working on these things so I have faith they'll fix it for us. Thank you!

Hi, I don’t know if this is the proper spot for this type of post, I doubt it is, but I am in the chesscom beta club and after having this same issue happen more than a handful of times, I was on their club’s forums just kinda seeing if anyone else had been experiencing similar issues and was about to make this post there, but I saw a link to this club and thought it would make more sense to post it in a forum related to “chess.com feedback” where someone who would either know why it’s happening, or possibly works for the site and could possibly see about fixing the issue. That’s all a long winded way of saying that I came here because this club’s link was on the beta club’s forum page, and “feedback” seemed appropriate. Anyhow, multiple times now, including the most recent 10|0 Rapid Swiss (>1199) tournament, the ones that cycle through every four hours on the site’s tourney schedule, but I got to the join page, like the New Game page but it includes the Tournament Standings tab with the list of players joined and the join button, and joined the tournament with the tournament not starting for like 10 minutes. So while waiting I left my browser window open on that page whilst watching tv in the background and occasionally reloading the page, strictly in order to avoid having this problem happen but to no avail. Once the start timer was on like 1:30, I opened itunes so I have some background music and then sat watching the clock count down to 0 anticipating the start of my first game, but nothing happened. Having an idea of what was going on I quickly tried to click between the standings, games, and chat tabs, then when that did nothing, I again reloaded the page only to be met with a popup saying that I was being given a 0-point by because I was found to be disconnected when the tournament started, which I absolutely wasn’t. This has happened quite a few times in the past month or so, and it isn’t exclusive to waiting on the tournament to start. At least two times, that I can recall for sure, the same thing has happened after I had finished one of the games and was sitting on the tournament standings screen, clicking back and forth between one of the tournament games I was watching and the tournament chat, waiting for the next round to start. Once it said Next Round Starting Soon…I closed the game I was watching, and went to the standings page again waiting for the next round to begin. After it seemed to be taking forever I started looking and noticed that most of the other players had begun their next games. So I reloaded the page only to be given the same popup about being given a by due to being disconnected, even though I was actively chatting with other players in the tournament chat. I know it’s not a huge deal as the tournaments are not for money or status or anything significant, but still, for the amount of money I would assume the site is pulling in off of the number of memberships and the price of said memberships, I would think the site could afford to avoid stuff like this, especially if it is happening numerous times. I genuinely am not someone that complains about paying for memberships to stuff, or the prices of the memberships, because in my eyes no one is forcing you to pay the fees and join so if ya wanna gripe then cancel your subscription, but in this particular case, I sincerely believe that chess.com is superior in the online chess landscape, and it’s not even close. I don’t want to cancel my sub and go play on a different site, I like this site and, honestly, regardless if this problem is fixed or not, I ain’t going anywhere lol but I am getting really tired of having to withdraw from a tournament after two or three wins, or not even getting to begin the tournament at all after waiting half an hour and watching the clock for it to begin, due to what I am sure is some dumb glitch. Anyhow, if anyone read this far enough to get to this point, thanks for reading my stupid meaningless grievances, and sorry it turned into a novella.

Hi. I’m trying to change my email address. It’s an account created using a Google account with a Gmail address. I’d like to change the email address so I’m no longer tied to a Google account, but I can’t seem to do it. I’m not receiving any confirmation emails from the new email address that would allow me to activate the link. What should I do?

this is the start of our endgame at move 20 but...it says in the game review that it is only up to the middlegame but that surely is an endgame because there are no more queens on the board, and at the last move of the game, there were only rooks and pawns left, you can also check the game in my game history but is this a bug or am i just what??

Wanna know another feature I thought of that would be kinda cool but not really needed? Being able to see chess.com accounts in the past, like Magnus Carlsen's account in 2023 or someone's account in 2010. You would type the year in this search bar thingy off to the side while viewing someone's account and you could see what it looked like. Though it could be like a LOT of data and space to do that. It definitely won't be added, but it is kinda cool.

So, you know when you go to "learn" and it says "openings"? I did make a comment about it in the comment section, but then I remembered this club, and so I am posting about this issue I have with this "learn 50 openings" thingy. The thing that annoys me MASSIVLY, is that you have to learn the openings in order. Did the Italian and want to do the Queen's Gambit? NO! You got to do the 2 knights' defense! I just wish chess.com let us skip through openings, and if you can do that with premium or whatever, bring it to "basic" (no membership, free account) accounts! And I know what some of you guys are going to say: "Umm, actually, you don't have to do the lessons on chess.com, just use YouTube or maybe chessreps.com or another learning website!" And yes, that is correct, but STILL. Why not reinforce what you know with the chess.com lessons... thingy?

Please add variants like 4 player chess, crazy house, etc on mobile app. I am on the app and i think it is kind of boring without variants. Can Chess.com add this on the Chess.com app?

I posted a variant forum on this club, it got duplicated into 4 same forums. Is it lag or a bug. Can the admins delete the leftover forums?

How is it that the open source website with 20x less money can beat your fairplay detection by alot While when you play a few games on chess.com on a new account and get +2000 all you get is cheaters  when you check my  games list so many weird new accounts only few get detected

Instead of a large display of a game I select when in Forums, I now get this tiny horizontal view obviously designed for iPhone.  It makes reviewing a game impossible. Dear Development team, I realize you are improving things for  but PLEASE only hit us with ONE MAJOR issue at a time.  Between this and Captcha, you're losing me.

While playing in the last two Opening Roulette tournaments, I was unable to resign at all after the mandatory 10 moves, or offer a draw after 20 moves. Has this happened to anyone else? Have had opponents resign in a few games, but I was unable to. The BUTTON did not work when I clicked on it, just "winked" at me and did nothing, did not turn into green confirmation "Do you really want to resign?"

Please please remember that probably a third of your Users struggle with eyesight.  All other locations in this website have large window with multiple cool smiley icons from which to choose and they are large enough to easily see but not Forums ... We are resigned to tiny images that can't be seen with magnifying glass and a group of old icons that look like the 1980s.  And on Chrome on my MacBook Air, the ones on the right are cut off (attached).   I see a lot of improvements happening in this website - tweaks, refresh issues being resolved ... I know you all are hard at work working through buglets so thank you so much!

I noticed that the new app interface is quite similar to the website, but a notif button is missing. This would greatly help in club activities because players who only use the app are unaware of notes,forums,etc…

Hello, today, something very frustrating happened to me. I am not sure if it’s a bug though. Anyways, I tried to review a game from a member that asked for help in a forum (Not by gamereview). I made some comments on some of the moves, showed some variations and did some arrows on the moves to show threats, ideas, better moves etc. Just when I saved the review in my collection (Or library, as it is more likely to be called in english on chess.com), I noticed that I had a writting error on one of my comments. I corrected it and saved the analysis again in my collection and also made a copy. I refreshed the page and noticed that the writting error was not fixed for some reason. So I tried to correct and save it again. I did this a few times now, with Auto-Save on the collection and without it. I also used different methods like refreshing the page or just leaving the collection and opening it again. And in both cases, it didn’t applied the changes. And then I also noticed that ALL my arrows and markings I made were gone! I did a few arrows and markings again and tried it again. And the same thing happened again!My suggestion is simple but important: I really hope this will get fixed. Not only the saving-issue I described but also the disappearances I mentioned. I want to give members the best help I can, but this isn’t possible without arrows since visualization is often critical for beginners to understand certain moves / ideas / threats. Beeing able to save a game with all its analysis, including arrows is essential to me. And I value proper grammar. Did anyone else experienced this issue? Do you know how to properly apply the changes? I appreciate any help!And to the staff: Auto Save should save all changes please. Not just different moves.Thank you!
