Customizable Training Bots

Chess.com should add a feature that lets you change the style of the bot, (e.g., aggressive, likes to gambit, or safe)

This is a good way to train yourself.

You can also change what part of the game is stronger or weaker or more aggressive.

Very good idea. Difficult to implement, though.

I like this idea; it does seem a little expensive, so to compensate, it would probably be wise for Chess.com to put it in the list of gold membership benefits

I don't think being exclusively for gold (and up) members, but instead limiting them to a few games each day, like with puzzles, lessons, or Coach games. That way, it still allows users to improve their abilities while still not giving it totally away for free.

I think yall have very good ideas; mine would be:

  1. limited to 2 games per day (free)
  2. Since you mentioned how this could be expensive, I think it should be diamond membership-only perk

No reason this should be expensive! Actually the different bots already have such specific behavior. It is just not clearly displayed and several properties ("character traits"/styles of opening, attacking, blundering...) are mixed in each of the bots.

maybe not all the bots but if the coach bots had a feature similar to that it would be way more realistic and helplful
