we should get rid of the time frame thingy and just have it be anyone at your level.

but what if someone wanted to play rapid and the other one wanted to play blitz?

That's how it works and will take some time, mo matter what.. It has to find someone looking for a game at the same time you are, at the same time control, and you are both within each other's rating ranges. It literally can't be done any other way

It still takes time to find any match, regardless. Plus, members have a right to choose their seek settings.

You will find this becomes increasingly annoying at high levels because there are simply not enough players in general let alone looking for a game at the same time. It depends which time I play but I sometimes experience 3 min matchmaking times in 1 min bullet time control;
