Chat Rooms in Season 5

Checking out the chat rooms that Chess.com provides for us (I can't believe I didn't know about these before now), I've discovered that each comment can be up to 200 characters long, and the chat log will display the last 250 comments before they start scrolling off.  As long as you stay in the room and do not refresh, the comments will not disappear (until they scroll off).  But if you leave the room or refresh the page, the comments can disappear in less than a half hour (sometimes as quickly as 5 minutes).  Upon entering the room, you should see the comments from the last half hour.
