Hi all i am wondering if it is ok to cheat against the bots, i havent and before i do i want to make sure its ok to do so. The reason i want to cheat against them is to figure out there playing style and learn more about the game. If you guys can tell me if you know or not that would be great!

I think that any type of cheating is bannable and not allowed but if anyone else here says otherwise I think you shouldn't cheat against the bots
In my opinion you should learn from human games.....you will never be a computer. You will learn a lot more from GM games than computer games.

Agreed. Also opening an analysis board is much better than cheating against a bot because it is basically using an engine against the engine lol.

You can cheat against bots if it is unrated
Actually you are allowed to cheat against bots as long as it's unrated (which is the only option) and the bot is okay with it (which is probably yes).
It's not like you're cheating against a sentient human or gaining rating.
It's fine as long as it's unrated and you actually learn something out of it.

Learn the bots by playing against them without computers.
It's what I do and I learn a lot from them.
To be fair, just play against humans and if you really really really want to then you can cheat against the bots but it probably won't be as beneficial as playing with real people.
ill have to ask support.
the reason i want to is to see why they make some of the moves they make so if i have a analyze board open i can see why.
