yes but sometimes overnight when i wake up i have 20-30 notifications and I'd have to wait until I'm done with all of them

I see that you have joined 24 clubs. Only other suggestion I can think of is to limit what type of notification and how many you get from each club.
What I do for myself is go through each notification individually and then at the end if there are any that won't go away, that's when I will use the "select all" feature.
The only club I have had this problem with is the Chess.com Beta group. No others. I have only joined 7 clubs though, so I probably do not get nearly as many notifications as you do.

This just started happening today. Not sure if this is just happening to me or others as well? This has only been happening to me with the Chess.com Beta group, no other groups I have joined (6 total) have been affected.
Whenever I click on the new "announcement" from the Chess.com Beta group to see what is new or click the "X" to delete the notification on my profile (top left corner), after refreshing my browser, the the notification reappears right after. In place of refreshing my browser, if I go to any other part of the chess.com website, the "new notification" announcement reappears within seconds of deleting it.
It is not a huge issue by any means, especially compared to other fixes being worked on throughout the site, but it does get rather annoying when it is constantly there and won't go away.
I tried turning off all notifications in the Chess.com Beta club settings to no avail. The message kept appearing.
