Is there a way the chess.com moderator minimum age can be 13 or something like that because I would be a great moderator, but I am 14, I don't want to wait 4 years .

It’s reasonable, would anyone want the website/app in the hands of teenagers instead of adults?

Of course, the power would be limited.

Is that what you are, a mod?

I am a moderator.

Wait what law is it? Is it because you don't get paid and might have to see some pretty bad stuff to moderate?

My understanding is minors can't generally be bound by contracts. There's also likely some labor/exploitation related reasons as well

Is there a different status/title a minor can achieve?

There should be an honorary place for some members who are under 18 years old.

All members are free to post helpful replies. The other abilities are something that isn't possible without actually being a moderator.

I mean like a specific flair for people who help the staff and moderators to make Chess.com a better place. For instance I was really helping the staff back in 2024, when troll activity peaked.
