You can still go to clubs, but they are having lots of site traffic and they are taking things off the home page to save space I believe
Chess dot com, what the heck?

Their usage increased in a pretty crazy way at a time when there was expected reason for it to happen. Some patience is going to be required. I don't think they have some kind of cloud setup where they can just boost capacity with the press of a button.

it's annoying for sure! Thing is, they have no business sense. If I had a membership that can be cancelled at any time and I was having problems with how many people I could have on line, my paying members would never know about it!! We, paid and free, are all getting bumped off with the same priority!?! That's costing me money and a lot of inconvenience!! There's no way I can invite students to a classroom or rely on zoom in the midst of this chaos. As soon as I find another way to conduct my business I'm out

Who the heck is Gotham Chess and why would Danny or Mike allow someone that is unaffiliated with their service to explain what's happening to paying members on a You Tube video!?! That 1 line of apologetic nonsense and a video from someone that does not represent chess.com.... going from 7 million to 10 million is not double!! If you understood anything about marketing, you'd have anticipated and increase in activity as other sports reached their championship cycles and the New year was here. Soccer done, world series done, NFL done. Now everyone starts on their 2023 goals... Chess.com done. Tacky!

I still am so annoyed with all these database overloads. Luckily, we still have dogs to keep us from getting bored!

A lot of people have been playing chess, you can tell because chess's popularity is 2 times more than when Queens Gambit came out and that was big.
What is going on here? Quite a few times this week I have logged on to play 5 minute chess but when I went to play the site said it was over capacity. Also, they no longer have any direct way to access clubs from your home page or menus. Have they discontinued supporting clubs?
