Chess Ladder

I'm wondering if a chess ladder here may get us interacting and playing each other more (With after game reviews/analysis) I've seen it working in other groups-along lines only being able to challenge person two places above/below you in league-a win pushing you above higher rated player etc etc.

What do others think?

I think the other groups i've seen it in list members (who want to compete) by rating order. Then individuals issue a challenge to those (normally above them in group) by two or three places-no higher and challenged has 3 days to respond. If they don't respond or lose game the player moves above them in rating ladder.That's how I've seen it in other groups-we could then post games for after match analysis.I think first stage would be getting a lsit of people who would be interested in the ladder and also any adjustments as to how they would want it to work.

Ok, well I think we could do that. I started this group because other members in the forum didn't had a paid account. But I have never been a very active super admin. Wasn''t supposed to be either, but I have been thinking of promoting the group a bit. New blood might get things going again and a ladder-competition seems like a fun group activity :)
