In chess mole, there are two teams, White and Black. The two teams compete in a game of chess, that will be annotated here, in the forums.
The teams will probably consist of 5 players each.
Each team will have 4 normal players, and a mole. they will take turns and play moves in the game. the goal of the normal players is to win against the opposing team, while the mole's purpose is to make it's team lose by making bad moves.
Every 10 moves, each team can vote and kick the person they believe is the mole out. However, in order for the mole to be kicked at least 3 members have to agree to kick him. If they kick out the wrong person, they won't immediately lose but they will get a penalty and have a disadvantage as they will be playing with one less normal player. If a team gets 3 penalties, it loses. If a team successfully kicks out the mole, they don't immediately win but continue to play with the advantage of all players playing normally. If a voting doesn't come to a clear conclusion (there aren't enough votes to kick someone), nothing happens to the team. In case of a draw between the two teams, the one who kicked out the mole first is the winner. If that's a draw as well, the team with the least penaltys wins
The teams may discuss here. They can say their theories out loud, but no one may tell what role he has. Teammates cannot suggest moves to each other or use outside help. Spectators can also see what is happening and comment on their theories, but they may not suggest moves.
This an interesting variant of chess.
