Chess (Explained in 1 paragraph!)

Chess is a two-player strategy board game played on a grid of 64 squares. Each player has an army of 16 pieces—including pawns, rooks, knights, bishops, a queen, and a king—with different movement and capturing rules. Players take alternating turns with the ultimate objective to trap the opponent's king, in "checkmate".

okay got it sooo a little about me! I've been playing chess for about 1 year (i first got into chess when i joined a class) and i've been in a couple of clubs including my school's chess club and I was an honorary member of the Vienna Chess club. What about you guys?

If you want to "make this website have more knowledge" you have to contribute knowledge to it by adding your own thoughts. You can't just make a forum post and take credit for whatever people post here. Also, why would anyone post here rather than literally any other thread?
