Chess Variant Idea

I have an idea for a new variant of chess: Kingless Chess. This variant is just like normal chess, with the exception that there are no kings on the board. To win, all of the opponent's pieces must be captured. However, I have noted that many games end in a draw, such as queen and rook versus queen, as the opponent can always evade traps without being captured, since there are no checks in this variant.

This is a very interesting idea!

We just have to fix this problem of draw.

Probably by putting bare piece rule.

I hope that this variant get accepted.

have you heard of giveaway? lol

The concept is cool but yeah like you said draws are quite easy to achieve, it would probably be like tic tac toe except more complicated

in which case there is the same problem, because it would be very hard and I think impossible to force an opponent to lose the second-to-last piece

you don't need bare piece rule... literally just make it play for points

Yea is a good idea, but we just have to put 40 points checkmate to prevent one player claim win if he has 20 points more.

I think this is already a thing

that doesn't work, you can't checkmate if there's no royal piece lol

Their point was to make claim win 40 point advantage instead of 20

As a side note, I have done this against Video Chess. I have been able to beat Level 8 and Level त, though.
