Chess Variants Board

I checked out the variants page and l clicked and Chaturagan. I see the board. But when I click on other variants such as XXL Chess, I still see the Chaturagan board.

it has never happened to me 

is it a bug?

Variant bugs should ideally be posted in The 'Variants Club'

Could you please explain more. You open Variants, click Historical, then click Chaturanga. What next? How do you switch from that page to XXL Chess?

After I open Chaturanga, I exit that variant and open XXL Chess, but the game board on the left still shows Chaturanga
