https://www.chess.com/clubs/forum/view/clemenz-opening-and-a-risky-gamble-on-moves?cid=62972971&page=1#comment-62972971 I saw someone mention Crab Opening and decided to attempt one. I didn't know how this would work so it was a new attempt. I decided to move into a varied one after seeing some examples of the generic type and attempted a new strategy. I moved one pawn to one square and on the other end moved the other pawn to double spaces. After the game, I analyzed the game and found that this was called Clemenz opening and its success rate is at 36% for White and 49% for Black according to the Chess site records. Have a look at my game and do try to replicate this and find more answers with the same moves or less. I may have been lucky to get a weak opponent but I play every game as it was my first and last. Was I lucky? Did my opponent make rational decisions? Did I make rational decisions? How could I play this better? Comment below and post all variations of the original Clemenz opening and comparisons of variations also. Also, post your take on it. I am happy to learn from my mistakes. So please show me how I can be better.
