Closed positions, or open positions?

Do you like closed positions, or open positions? And why? Tell me in the comments below!

I personally, I like open positions, I can attack more freely. And for closed positions, it feels very cramped to me.

Depends what pieces you have, knights are good in closed positions, but bishops are better in open (I think)

Closed by far, i like having more space and i utilize knights way better than bishops, i usually open it up transitioning from middle to endgame

Open positions have more possibilities of tactics.  Hence, Open Positions.

I like mainly open positions but closed positions can be helpful against higher rated opponents if you want a draw
