Club management/notification through Chess.com app

Hello,

Wouldn't it be interesting to be able to manage Clubs, e.g., arranging Daily Team Matches in the Chess.com app?

Moreover, it would be extremely convenient if the Team members receive notifications in the APP when a new Team Match has been created.

Cheers,

that whole app doesn't seem to work very well, i tried to see if any chess.com people cared that it doesn't no one responded

i just use the whole site in my browser when i need to do it on my phone, works much better

i think they need to make a specific forum for issues with that phone app

I've tried to use the Android app, but like Wolly, find it better to use a browser on my phone.

Mind, I'm given to blunders when moving on my phone so I try not to do that, but checking if a call for votes need be issued for a vote chess game or similar is something that's reasonable to do while waiting for a train, or in a pharmacy, or any other situation where concentration is limited but some time is free.

Right now I'm thinking the apps are practically useless, but I'm sure there are people who value them. Must be a difficult choice for chess.com to decide where to spend development money; my previous phone couldn't run a browser to access the site. Yeah, it was a pretty limited phone, but I don't like expensive phones and have no professional need for one, so ...

Well,

I get notifications in the app when someone wants to add me as a friend. So, I wonder why not include notifications when a club you are member posts some news or send new message. I understand that chess.com may not be interested in the developing the App to be user friendly for the Clubs, but, at least showing notifications about your Clubs activities would already be very handy...

Yes!

My phone isn't very common, it is a Chinese phone from Meizu, but it is very high spec compared to most $300 phones with 3GB of RAM and built in 30 GB Storage. Most android apps work very well on it.

When we were away from town using hotspots, I kept going back and forth between browser and phone app before I decided the phone app just doesn't work well enough / update game positions properly.

There have been times I have been expecting the app to register / accept old moves in games I am currently in, as it has shown old expired games before as current so often, but thankfully it didn't seem to let any current games corrupt that I knew about.

I would like to trust it but there are a handful of problems that stop me using it altogether now.
