Some of us admins have been building our teams as volunteers for countless hours over the years, serving chess.com’s customers with friendship, kindness, and warmth. Now when I visit the home pages of my beautiful teams, instead of seeing current messages about an exciting new match or welcoming a new member, or even a teammate checking in with a simple “hi”, I see prominently displayed irrelevant 1 year old announcements and 2 month old obscure forum posts. I have put so much time and effort into building these teams into friendly, welcoming, happy communities, that it saddens me to see them under attack.
Club Redesign: Five questions to @jdcannon

Agreed.
We've been posting a ton of bugs here, no need to make another forum I think.
This topic is most about the club redesign not general bug reports. Bug reports should go in their own topics or at least a related one.
That's a good news, thanks. Would be great to know, how long it's known already and if fixing is somehow prioritized.
I know there's a ticket in on it and it's a higher priority
Come on Martin ..., how long is there already a ticket on this bug?
As I've seen, that there is such a risk, I immediately thought about stop playing for while ... or even informing members of my clubs about such a possible risk. As longer as this bug will last as more club members will loose confidence in playing daily chess on Chess.com.

.
To stay somehow precise, this forum is about five general and neutrally worded questions to @jdcannon about club redesign, which he was not willing to answer for nine weeks now.

It's actively being worked on and probably will be fixed today.

My question was, how long this important and discouraging bug is already known?
I'm really tired of these "looking in", "working on" and "coming soon" messages. Would be great to get more precise information. Our clubs are suffering for long lasting problems caused by Chess.com and our members get less and less interested in club activities. I don't have any (friendly) idea, what Chess.com wants to achieve with this hostile attitude.
I’d like the member highest rating order fixed. That’s causing issues for admins. It’s just currently random.
As far as I can tell, all ticket entered about the highest rating sort have been closed, so how it looks now is considered fixed unless there is a change in the design.
Can you reopen the ticket it or add a new one. A mixture of rating types is useless and needs fixing. Thanks

I have asked if there's any discussion about options for that. The product team has to make those types of decisions and specific changes to make and open a ticket about it.
What we had before was at least useful in the old version. Why give us a fix that’s worse. I’ve tried very hard to help find and get bugs fixed. Whoever put in the ticket to get this fixed didn’t specify correctly how to fix it.

I know the first I saw anything about it was four days ago.

The sort is by highest rating and as far as I saw no information beyond that was in the ticket.

Who put in the ticket to have the rating types mixed up? That wasn’t right.
Not sure that mixed up highest rating is useful to anyone. Even you thought it was blitz order for a while. Blitz ratings are higher. The different rating types don’t correspond. It’s like mixing cats and dogs.
It doesn't really matter who put the tickets in. As said, I have asked about the sort, referenced the pages in this topic where it was brought up, and staff will determine if how it works is aligned with what it is meant to be or if additional modifications should be made.

Does that mean you will ask again for it to be fixed? Not sure what you are meaning.
