This club has "3 events played": Why can't I see them?

Shows 0 events for me.

Just look in the upper left of the screenshot: "3 events played". As they don't are team events, they are Swiss System tournaments or internal Arenas and should be part of "past events".

It was showing 0 when I posted previously. That said, it looks like the club has held three club arenas

@Martin_Stahl: And why can't I see these three Arenas? Thought, club events are public, aren't they?

And: Do I understand you right, you've looked twice on the page and got different results? Shouldn't you open a ticket about such an unreliable presentation?

Looks like it might be a bug.

Actually, can you see them now?

Avatar of Tournamentix

Checked this a second time. Presentation is indeed unreliable. Now, three Arenas are shown:

Three hours ago, they were invisible (screenshot in comment #921).

If events are sometimes shown and sometimes not or sometimes counted and sometimes not, as @Martin_Stahl took note, how should one seriously work with such an unreliable list?

Will you open a ticket? How will it be possible to know, that lists of events are finally reliable?

I don't think it's intermittent, tough I don't know the cause, unless it's a query timeout. But every page load now is showing correctly.

I have mentioned it, in case it could be an actual bug and not just a query timeout

@Martin_Stahl: Screenshot in comment #921 shows, that it was different and wrongly shown only three hours ago. Refreshed the page several times, before taking the screenshot.

Seen this example of an extremely unreliable presentation, I like to ask again: How will it be possible to know, that this has been fixed and lists of events are finally reliable?

If you think, it might be a bug, will you take your and my observations to open a ticket and come back one day with a result? Until then, it looks to be best to tell everyone, that event lists can't be taken as a reliable source of information.

I'll let staff decide if it's worth opening a ticket about. Until it's known what might have happened, that's where I'll leave it

All issues are worth opening a ticket for.

Including my five points in #925 I hope.

That's, what I get while following a notification to a new message:

These messages are several days old and there were a lot of more recent ones since then ...

In my humble opinion ... notifications should always be reliable and precisely working.
That's, what they were designed for ... Don't know, who had the funny idea to redesign them.

I had a number of matches start the other day and no messages. Maybe they are still coming. It can get a bit confusing.

If the site doesn't work reliably, it's a bug and needs a ticket to have somebody investigate. Even if it may be due to timeout, it's still a bug, a usability and reliability problem.

I notice we now have a list of club members by 960 daily order. Be nice if when things are fixed or new things added you tell us so we can use them and stop using work arounds. Not have to stumble on such things.

Tournamentix wrote (in the "Early release" forum in Club Admins):

Just another example of things, which simply don't work: If I've look on incoming challenges, I see two for a Multi Club Arena:

If I try to "view" them, it shows one of my outgoing challenges to another Multi Club Arena.

Looks, that is simply no way to get access to the incoming challenge.

I've mentioned this already twice, first in comment #1042 four days ago (and posted a reminder yesterday in comment #1068). Still can't see the incoming challenge to this tomorrow's Arena, even can't verify, which of my clubs has been challenged or go to the start page of the challenging club, which would allow asking a question.

Have seen right now, that one of both challenges is accessible on the traditional way ... to see and accept them with a pop menu in the play interface, if using a browser:

This shows, that the challenge still exists and presentation in club redesign is broken. Would be great, if someone would check this before these challenges will disappear tomorrow.

If I don't have access to all challenges, if I can't "view" them all, it will be the same for others as well and makes e.g. my weekly Multi Club Arenas some kind of a lottery, which they aren't intended to be.

Have copied this from the original forum as it looks to be difficult to understand, why something, which has been broken with club redesign stays without answer for more than four days. Should be more than enough to do unpaid work once, shouldn't it?

Fun fact: Today the first of Chess.com's September special event Multi Club Arenas will start.

Right now its shown with less priority than the next "Community Bullet Brawl Arena" and two upcoming "King's Rapid Practice Arenas" (!) ...

Avatar of Tournamentix

Update to comment #945: With the latest live server restart the (shown "unviewable") incoming challenges disappeared ... as all outgoing pending challenges to Multi Club Arenas as well.

Avatar of Tournamentix

Wherever I look ... I see again an again stagnation all around, again and again unrectified wrong decisions, again and again the same errors ...

No answers heard, no progress seen, no update read for an entire week now.
