Please remove the toast notification on mobile. I can't see the top on the screen and it doesn't clear. I don't want to accept or reject this challenge right now but it's getting in my way.

If it won't be removed, at least fix it so you can clear notifications that don't concern you. A setting might be nice to toggle what you want to get for each club.

I don't know why the toast notifications were introduced. Does anybody like them? There are already icon notifications that are much less intrusive. And they can be cleared!

This may be unpopular, but I like the toast notifications. It makes it easy to access challenges, friend requests, and club requests without missing anything. The problem with them is that you cannot ignore them. Clicking clear all will just hide them on the current screen and once you switch pages, you'll see it all over again which forces you to either accept or reject.

If Chess.com can fix/add the ability to hide a notification forever when clicking clear all, I wouldn't mind them.

I will say, that they take up way too much real estate on mobile browsers. They shouldn't be showing on mobile when the screen is already very limited.

The problem is some admins don’t deal with challenges and still get them. And aren’t happy about that. It’s ok for the admins who do. But sometimes they are annoying people for a few hours or longer till they are dealt with.

I have asked about this and suggested either always minimized until checked or for it to remember if you minimize it.

It was a change that wasn’t really needed or asked for. We have asked for other changes that seem to be ignored. Wonder who is advising the developers. Someone must be dreaming up this unnecessary stuff.

A lot of updates come from internal processes. The site does take suggestions but staff also have their own ideas

Yes, that's a nice description of an important looking part of the problem.

"The site does take suggestions", like demanding reliable and complete notifications, some "internal processes" start and after "adding their own ideas" some of these notifications get "toasted".

They are as unreliable as before, they are still incomplete ... and become now partially dysfunctional, increasingly annoying and an additional difficulty for club admins.

All these steps and their result are about a better "user experience", aren't they?

This little pop-up seems to be one more thing simply put there to get in the way of an admin doing their best and volunteering their time to make their clubs competitive with others. And it's not really an accept or reject button, if you hit the arrow it takes you to the challenge. Kind of ridiculous really.

I don't think I even remember what Chess.com is like on a computer. I'm relegated to this tiny screen with my fat fingers often making mistakes in my numerous 960 3/0 blitz games. Have pity on me won't cha?😋

Fun fact: Chess.com has changed the presentation of players in live events. On the left side of their name now their billing or employing status is shown .. without any option to avoid this presentation. How embarrassing is this?

Yet again today we have a failure of notifications for new matches . I can’t believe I am stupid enough to keep paying for this shambles . If we were getting this standard of service from any other provider ie gas , electric, phone or internet, we would be switching immediately. PLEASE tell us when things will be fixed. One of my constant questions is about top players list for teams which we were assured would be restored, but every time it’s mentioned it is completely ignored. For everyone’s sake , get these issues sorted or just close down teams and groups and put us out of our misery .

I have team matches that should have hundreds of players. Notifications were not sent. So now we have 3 or 4 players on each team. 😴

Daily match top players list……we miss you. 😥
