Yes, you're right. I'm not sure at all, if really someone declines these challenges (again and again and always immediately) ... or if this is just part of another bug.
Next question: is the "online status" reliable?
It is now over 3 weeks since the iPhone notifications link has been broken (it just goes to homepage rather than to the open match etc).
Our join numbers for the first round of 1WL are about half of our usual response.
@Ximoon: Yes, making "toasted" notifications unignorable is really annoying and specially clubs with a lot of admins will have huge difficulties to manage their participations.
It would help a lot, if Chess.com would integrate acceptance and declines of all kind of challenges in Club Audit Log, wouldn't it? This way, it could be checked, who has declined a challenge ... or if challenges are declined without any club activity.
So many things that should go in the audit log that aren't such as declining matches, rejecting a membership

This is another reason why we always have to include the club names in the match name. Which makes for very long match names.

I've blocked the owner of "5 for Fighting" a long time ago. In the past I could simply ignore unwanted incoming challenges.
Due to Chess.com's toaster notifications this isn't possible any longer, which amplifies the annoyance of these challenges.
Would like to have a general setting: "Do not show messages / challenges from this member / club."
I guess your solution here is to blacklist. But that won't solve the overall annoyance of those notifications.

Yes, I would need to do this for every single of my clubs. That would take some time, which I don't want to spend with this. And it would not protect me to get e.g. tournament invitations or club invitations ...
Just a reminder in week 24 of post development process: Challenges to daily matches still don't show all parameters (min. games are missing) and club names still aren't clickable.

To check all parameters, it's still necessary to switch to the good, old club design.
Yes very annoying. Just had to redo some challenges. Please fix it so we can see challenge parameters before accepting a challenge. Or when created.
I am sending out messages and announcements which have links and they can’t use them from the app. It’s a waste of my time.
