Clubs Progress Update

I wanted to provide a high level weekly summary of what we've finished in the last week and what is currently in progress.  Its my intention to update this forum weekly on Fridays. 

My report that is pulling this information is a work in progress and may not include all that is actually being worked on. Will improve in coming weeks.

I apologize for the lack of recent updates. I have been travelling a lot lately but am back home for the next few months:

Chess.com is working on two initiatives that we hope to complete in 2024.
- Make large scale member run leagues easier (such as the leagues that you run.) Some of the projects supporting this effort are:-- Making it easier for club admin to message members-- Email, mobile, and web notification campaigns to bring awareness to club events. -- Making events easier to schedule (i.e. bulk add clubs to multi club arena, recurring events)
- Club Customization to support clubs that focus on different purposes. Some clubs are Streamer Fan clubs, some focus on League play, some simply social clubs. Each of those clubs have different needs and feature requests and we want to allow clubs to customize so they can more easily focus on their areas of interest.

We have released the ability to automatically join a club when you join a club event (assuming the club does not require an application to join)

There are some in progress bugs and smaller improvements in progress now as well:

Underlying infracture projects are in progress to

- Enable us to build a mass message tool for club admins

- Greatly increase the side of events

- Send toaster and push notifications

These are all very large projects that we've been working on for several months and hope to finish soon.

Club Chat notification are expected in QA reivew in a few days. Hopefully its smooth and we can release next week.

Have started a project to scope how to add Vote Chess games onto your member profile.
