Current Group Activities

We have several vote chess and team matches in progress right now. Our group has almost doubled in the last month though, and quite a few people were not members when the original messages about these vote chess games and team matches were sent. Because of that, I thought it might be a good idea to post something in the forum for everyone.

Doctor Who! vs. Gothic Team Match is in the sign up stage and starts April 6th. Gothic has 12 people signed up and has been holding there for several days. We have 13 signed up. Kasparov and the Doctor 1600 - 1900 team match with the Kasparov Chess Club is in the sign up stage. That match begins April 2nd. I set it to be able to start with four players. Please join if you are in that rating range. Here is the link: http://www.chess.com/groups/team_match?id=512250

We have a Chess 960 team match with the 'Doru-66 and His Best Friends' group that is in the sign up stage. Evidently, that group has quite a few members that play Chess 960. They have 49 signed up. We have 10 thus far. The match starts March 30th. This match was set with a minimum of 4 players, so there will be as many games as we have members who join that match. Also, all Team Matches and Vote Chess games are set for 3 days per move. Team Matches are set for either one game per player or two. There will never be more than two games per player or less than three days perr move on any team match we set up.
