Custom boards?

I think that Chess is an art form, and I will say that custom boards and chess pieces are gonna be good. Here's some suggestions.

- Upload a PNG that will be the squares (separate from black and white), and one bottom right square, like the Staunton Board.

- Upload a PNG for the pieces, all 12 of them.

Then what about a competition where only one can get in?

Overall the original idea would never work or be worth the effort. But do you mean have a competition for designing a new custom board to be released in the future? That would be cool sometime

For a while I've wanted the option to customize the board, though I'm not sure how well the custom pieces would work with regard to the animations.

Technically, this is possible via 4PC.

Going to 4PC, you can then open a new custom board, make the rule for 2 player only, and from there you'll be able to make your own custom board. You'll also have access to fairy pieces, which is a plus.

what if knight was bishop? that would be confusing
