Short answer: no.
Longer answer: For now, it is unfortunately not possible to make your own pieces and use those pieces for creating variants on chess.com. From what I have seen, though unlikely there have been claims that chess.com may decide to add a custom piece creator in the future. But since this isn’t very likely, the only other way we get new pieces is if chess.com decides to add new pieces because they want to add a variant that uses those pieces.

at the very least just add the shogi lance and the xiangqi cannon
well, but there are a bunch of them that would be be easy to add yet it would be good for variants:
the Xiangqi Cannon (moves like a rook but it must jump over a piece to capture) would be kinda hard to code, but it would allow tons of cool variants, there’s also the Vao (moves like a bishop but it must jump over a piece to capture) and the Leo (Vao + Xiangqi Cannon)
there’s also a bunch of pieces that combine pieces that already exist:
Modern Elephant: Alfil + Ferz
Woody Rook: Wazir + Dabbaba
Phoenix: Wazir + Alfil
Kirin: Ferz + Dabbaba
Crowned Rook: Rook + Ferz
Crowned Bishop: Bishop + Wazir
Crowned Chancellor: Chancellor + Ferz
Crowned Archbishop: Archbishop + Wazir
and I would also suggest to add the Zebra, which is a (3,2) Leaper, that would also allow a few more compounds:
Buffalo: Wildebeest + Zebra
Bison: Camel + Zebra
These fairy chess pieces are quite popular and most of them are probably easy to code, the hardest part would probably be making the icons for them
