Indeed, this is the same issue. I hadn't recognised the other thread because it does not refer to Chess960.
I wasn't sure that it concerns only 960 games cause someone else told me that also a standard game had been messed up.
I have the same problem (just in 960's matches) and lots of our players from Team Argentina reported this issue too. We are recommending our players to put vacations but some of them haven't too much time.
We hope support fixs the problem quickly today and vacation time spent should be returned to the players that have been forced to use it.
The issue happens in the web (playing with my PC), I haven't it in the application.
There is something going wrong with the daily Chess960 games. When I click on this (960) game:

the starting position is shifted from Chess960 to normal and only the moves that are legal from this different starting position are performed. This destroys the game.
