When I found my first diamond in a village I thought it was so rare. And it was in a spruce village, so the blacksmith house looked different and I as a noob didn't immediately make the connection that diamonds could be in blacksmith houses. But two blacksmith houses ... that's good! Good luck with your hardcore world @pupapple77777!

Yeah for some reason I have an aptitude for finding good spruce villages which makes me think all spruce villages are pretty good (probably not true) which is just the same way with acacia villages - but the opposite - all the acacia villages I find are garbage, so I generally think of them as worse villages.

ye acacia villages are always awful and they are so glitched like ive seen seeds from the farm planted in the path blocks, half beds, and half doors in them. i seem to have pretty good luck with plains villages, which is good because thats my favorite biome to have a base in.
i just walked for like 10 minutes,and then i found a village with 2 blacksmiths! i looted the village, almost died by the iron golem,killed the iron golem,and found 2 diamonds! and there was this cool terrain right behind the village so i decided to build my base there! i made a staircase to the base and now i’m gathering materials for the base!
