Decorating for the Winter Holidays

Hey guys!

Now that Thanksgiving is done in my area, there are many people who already have decked their houses out with arrays of lights and inflatables to celebrate Christmas which is over a month away. What do you think about decorating for the winter holidays?

When do you think the right time to start is? Do you decorate, and if so what do you do?

I usually don't put lights up until the first week or two of December, and I don't go full out with tons of inflatables and stuff.

lol I think it depends where you live cuz I'm in california and it is still very hot windy and dry and doesn't feel like christmas at all

yeah I don't do inflatables either but lights are cool

Since we get a live tree to celebrate Christmas, we wait until the 3rd week of December to get it and put it up.

I see. In upstate New York, you'd think there was a statewide competiton

over a month? it's in 29 days

lol there are neighborhoods like that but usually my house with a couple of light strings stands out.

Me, in October because in Canada, the ground freezes so quickly!

I've had my Christmas decorations up for weeks now hahaha

My sister always wants them up before her birthday (which is on Thanksgiving )
