DGT Live Chess errors

When using my DGT board in live chess I am experiencing an error where moves are being made that I did not make on the board. In these five games my piece was moved in the live game (all rated) even though I had not made a move on my physical board:

To clarify, when using a DGT board to play live games on chess.com you need to first connect your board using DGT LiveChess which connects automatically to the chess.com server when you play a live game. The DGT LiveChess display of the board matched the physical board, so the issue is not with a faulty connect on the physical DGT board (it's also brand new) but rather with the chess.com server.

As evidenced above it's making live games using the DGT board impossible as these were the last five games I attempted, including restarting my laptop in between.

If anybody else has experienced any similar problems feel free to post them below.

I don't own a DGT board... maybe if you help fund me, I could help in your experiences :/

I will check it out.

Did you happen it pick the piece up and set it back down without moving it or bump the pieces at all? Perhaps it was overlapping a square next to it?

I am just reaching for some idea for our dev to test out as he looks at this.

Hey @jdcannon - I didn't touch the physical board in any of the five instances, I just heard a move being made and saw my piece had been returned to its starting square in 3 instances and retreated in the other 2.

I'll see if the same problem happens again today.

Also there was no overlap of the pieces on squares (4 of the 5 instances were knight moves) and in every case the DGT LiveChess board display matched the physical board, so not a connectivity/relay issue my end.

I am confused by your last comment. You say that in every instance the physical board matches live chess, but how could that be if moves you didn't intend were being made?

I assume they mean the chess software provided by Dgt, I think that sits between the board and chess.com.

So, the Dgt software had not detected any moves, yet a move was played on here

@Jdcannon - there is the DGT LiveChess display (A) (a downloaded program that you use to connect your DGT board to your laptop); the physical board (B); and chess.com's live game (C) (which connects to your DGT board through LiveChess).

A and B matched, whereas C made a move on its own.
