Didn't they fix the "great moves" for checkmates?

Um... so chess.com used to sometimes put "great moves" for checkmates...

but I thought they got rid of those since they are just mates...

A great move is "A move that altered the course of the Game." Checkmates fit that bill.

yes, but chess.com stopped letting checkmates be "great moves" because they are too obvious (and i think some people wanted them to be tougher to get)

but maybe i just don't remember it correctly. idk

Maybe the game was not in your favour of winning, but you found a mate, chess.com would give you a great move. Or maybe the mate was hard to see.

Hence, maybe it's be another kind of gammar . I think?

Black's position here is kind of wack, although if white didn't checkmate they really don't have any other good moves with the queen except Qg4 and trade or going back to a passive square and allowing Nh4 ideas so i guess it makes sense to be great move here. Then again it's a simple m1 so maybe it's improper usage of the great move

I mean... there were at least a few other winning moves
