I know that chess.com has decided to not include games played by direct challenges to prevent fairplay related issues.

But many games on chess.com are prearranged, for example popular chess leagues on chess.com matches, classical matches. So, I suggest that to not make it so, as there are many methods to overcome that direct challenge thing for cheaters. I will not reveal those methods here though.

I don't know the full reason for direct challenges not counting, but part of is probably to help prevent someone playing hundreds of games against a much lower rated opponent to rack up trophies. While events may be a way to potentially get around some of that, you won't really be able to play the same person over and over with the limitation.

Club Events. Moreover, I consider myself as a very active member but many of my games are just prearranged. Some people also consider prearranged game more competitive.
