I’ve always been a snail in track and cross country, but I credit it for strengthening my body and mind at a time when I was a wimp. I’m more of a hiker nowadays, but currently, I’m recovering from an ankle tear. Not to mention that there aren’t many good hiking spots in the prairie, compared to where I grew up.

Many people hate running due to it being a punishment or them not doing it. I get it, I used to be a kid who couldn't jog a mile without walking, but with discipline in the past, I can now do a sorta ez 2miler, which im proud of. Hopefully I'll be doing marathons in my 20s-30s. Running has really improved my mental health!

Best 5k is 1745. Could be better but Florida is humid af, and I honestly like track sooo much better
