You're right. Unfortunately Chess.com doesn't manage simply the basics. And you're asking, visibly with a good argument, for something, which probably is about ten times higher than their today's level. We'll all need to wait until one day (!) a single (!) developer will get be charged with this banal question. It's simply like this. Unfortunately, Chess.com isn't in any way better.
Double notification for team match which I cannot join

When a new team match in daily format has been created, I get a message from CHESScom informing me about this, which is fine.
But if I am a member of both teams in this match, I get this message twice, although I cannot join for obvious reasons. (It is not allowed to be in both teams.)
It would still be nice if I would still get this notification, but once would be sufficient. And the button „View the Match and Join“ could be better named as „View the Match“.
