those rules are great
Draft Rules For Discussion

One item that I failed to include refers to players who are members of more than one club in our group. It should be Ok to be members of more than one group but it should not be allowed to play for more than one club in the same season.

These rules show flexibility. Concise is good, very good. Will you want a cut off date so as to end the season regardless of games left to be played, or can a season last 2 1/2 years if necessary? At the beginning of a round, if teams fail to challenge / accept do you want / need a deadline for play to begin, or for all clubs to begin at same hour? Is vacation permitted?

Thanks Ron, Hopefully receiving/accepting challenges will not be a problem as we will only have 4 teams with experienced admins running them. I will set a date forthe round to start. If the match doesn't start promptly after that I will look into the problem. I'm not too concerned about the hour matches start as long as they do start. Vacation is something I had not considered. My initial thought is to allow it but I'll pose the question to the others in the group. I appreciate your input, thanks!
1) The season will consist of a round robin daily chess tournament between the member clubs.
2) After the start of the first round, subsequent rounds will start in 8 weeks after the start of the start of the prior round.
3) Each round will consist of two concurrent games (one of each color).
4) Time control will be 3 days per move unless the players agree to a faster time control.
5) The minimum number of boards per match will be 6. If a team cannot sign up six players for any given match, they will not forfeit the match but will lose points for the unfilled boards.
6) If any player's account is closed for any reason during a game, the team will lose points for those games.
