Draws in the Playoffs or Final

Hi, I am new here, so I apologize if I am asking a question that  has been discussed elsewhere (it likely has been) or is common knowledge.

What happens when a draw occurs in the playoffs or the Final?

The teams play again another week, with colors reversed.  If it draws again they play again with random colors, then opposite again.  And so on until there is a winner.

I did not know what happened the third time.  I would have assumed to keep switching colors. So it possible to have the same color back to back.

I asked which way everybody wanted it: keep alternating, or random again, and almost everybody said the third time should be random again.  Don't think we've ever had to go to a third game tho, so it's still academic at this point.

Thanks to everybody for your replies. And it's nice to understand the answers to these types of situations in advance even though we're discussing a hypothetical. Therefore possible controversy, regarding this topic, is never possible.

We did actually have a time where we needed to go to a 3rd game: Animal Lovers vs Chess Nuts in Season 3 drew the first 2 games before a deciding game 3.
