Here is a recent game I played in the Live Room. It was a 10 10 timed game with an opponent practically my equal (points wise). He suprised me a little bit with the Dutch Defense but I think I surprised him even more with the Staunton Gambit! I think I've tried this gambit a couple of times before. The only difference this time is that I have played the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit a few times and felt a bit more comfortable with the position. What's funny is that in Chess.com's opening explorer they call this gambit, Blackmar's Second Gambit. I did all the text but Rybka 3 blunder checked it and I used MegaDatabase 2007 for an opening reference.
I always use Staunton G. against DD because after move 5. Nxf3 the position is very similar at that coming from BDG (my favorite) and in which I find confortable. (1.d4 d5 2.e4 dxe4 3.Nc3 Nf6 4.f3 exf3 5.Nxf3).
