Dutch Defense (A80)
I think its to risky to play. Ive played it and had a disitvantage. But I dont really know it that well .
It is risky, but that's because it's known as a 'dynamic' opening - it tends towards decisive results rather than draws. You do need to have a good idea of the main themes before playing the opening (especially in the Leningrad variation) or you'll probably come a cropper. I entered a Dutch defense tourney and really enjoyed it, but I must confess that I quite liked playing against it as white.
Even so, I still use it as my main weapon against d4. It gives black great attacking options and often leads to fun, sharp games.
