So, what sort of openings were you planning on looking at first? Post 'em here if you would!

Welcome to the group, everyone! After some thought, I am going to start a bunch of forum topics about specific openings. The idea is that you pick an opening, find someone in the group to play against, play your games (one for each colour, 10-15 moves or so . . just the opening), discuss (analyze, annotate, whatever you prefer), then post your findings in the corresponding forum. I don't know if it's the best way, but we can try it and see. If there is an opening you would like to try and someone is willing explore it with you, feel free to play the games and start your own topic about that opening. Remember, have fun, too :D
