This is not true, there is space... It has worked twice.

Without combining matches it's impossible to play separately WCL and ECL matches, not to say more with Open Swiss. Btw we also have to play CWC

I already pointed out that we propose to play double match as indicated in the Rules. If you don't respect the rules do what you want, you never get the points from TD

Every team should be aimed to play really interesting and tough games. Instead every time you are trying to do opposite, insisting on ridiculous things

We think this tournament is not so important, we can see the best European teams also from the WCL results. Much more intetersting is the swiss tournament. So if "no space" for it, let's stop the ELC and start the swiss one from the next year!

Of course we like the game itself, too, but for us also very important to keep the schedules and the (good) rules, if we say this is a tournament. We (would) like serious tournaments. If so, playing the games is much better feeling. 

Too much noise about nothing. Main tournament is WCL. There us no need to play 2 matches at once. Calendar should be balanced. We propose to play doubled match as per WCL schedule

Both team captains agreed that the match Bordeaux vs Thessaloniki will count both for WLC and ECL. (NB: sorry I only noticed about that possibility after I set the match, as it does not appear in the title)

Matches can be easily added manually on https://chess.bounceme.net/chess/ligas.php even if "ECL2017" is not included in title 

By the way, yes, it is enough that one side want to play double-up match and then it should be played by WCL schedule, unless team admins agree otherwise.

Bland_Joe, you can not claim points if opponent admin clearly say that their team want double match played by WCL schedule.

Thanks Stefan for clarifying obvious things. Of course if Budapest admin want to lose by forfeit they can decline our double match challenge in June. But hopefully wise deciosion make the difference

Where is this option in the rules? Nowhere. We want the double match to play just right now by ECL schedule, due to the ECL rules. We don't want to wait for 2,5 months. We clearly say this. We are still late... If Kyiv don't accept this, we claim the points. "In case of a mutual decision to postpone a match, the last date for the postoned matches is August 31." AS YOU CAN SEE THERE IS NO MUTUAL DECISION! This is obvious.

In the history of our team in the tournaments it has never happend, that the starting date has postponed with months. And will not happen of course.

"Scoring system is W: 3; D: 2; L: 1; who not accept the challenge or not send a challenge (-1)". Kyiv don't accept the challenge, SO PLEASE DO WHAT THE RULES SAY!!

We can wait till the end of this day. Sunday evening (24 h) I will delete our last valid challenge. If no acception we claim the 3 ponts in both tournament. I will not talking about this topic more in the future. Or we play chess or we do not play chess. Just right now. As the rules say. Thank you in advance.

Bland_Joe, I guess that you think that playing double WCL + ECL match should be better explained in rules?

Something that isn't written but is followed is the sentence that I wrote in previous comment > "it should be played by WCL schedule, unless team admins agree otherwise"

It is clear that your two teams do not have any mutual agreement for match postponement, and that's exactly why double match should be played by (main competition) WCL schedule, not by ECL schedule.
