Hi all. Congratulations from Team Armenia to all the winners.
Team Armenia should have been promoted to Div 1 for 2020 but we have decided to stay at Div 2.
Good Luck!

Okay, thanks for the info, I have included that wish in the tables above.
Thanks mago for all your hard work. It has been much appreciated by myself and Team Scotland. We are all looking forward to 2020.
We didn't manage to remain in the first division, but it was a challenging and useful experience to play against the most solid teams of the moment.
Congratulations to Team Spain and many thanks to mago... as usual
Good luck to all teams, admins and team members for the New Year.
good luck to every Player who did their best to win ...but there are Teams who have to go down to a+nother division, but they can come back at the end of next Season. I will fight for Germany in order to remain in Group A...Let the games begin
Congratulations to Team Spain, EL2019 Champion, and to all division winners, and Happy New Year 2020 to all!
I have to appeal to recalculate tiebreaks on Division 3. I've calculated it and Team Galicia tiebreak is 493.41.
I think the result of the game https://www.chess.com/daily/game/237197780 finished on the last day of the year has been considered as unfinished.
That adjustement will not change promotions, but will change 3rd and 4th positions in Div 3.

I confirm that if the standings were taken today, on 1st of January, the tiebreaks would have been
Galicia 493.4
Portugal 492.6
However I also confirm that yesterday, on December 31st (the day for taking final EL standings), the tiebreak was
Portugal 492.6
Galicia 492.2
as confimed both by chessteams.info and by my own scripts.
Obviously 3rd place and 4th place in Division 3 did not have any influence on any promotions or relegations, and the difference in EL tiebreaks was definitely among the very closest differences ever observed. So if there had been a bronze medal to be awarded in this division, I think I would have given it to both Team Portugal and Team Galicia
The final results for EL2019 are available.
You can view them here below, or in more detail on
https://chessteams.info/
(My version below has the same ordering of teams, but may have some very slightly different tiebreaks.)
Congratulations to the winners of the divisions!
Div 1 : Team Spain
Div 2 : Team Bulgaria
Div 3 : Team Denmark
Div 4 : Bosnia and Herzegovina
Div 5 : Team Iceland
In the table on the right hand side, I have shown the divisions for next season according to the best information I currently have about the teams, and from the teams, about who will be able to and wishing to play up in the higher division. If you think you have information about your team that might not yet have been included here, please be quick to tell me.
For preparing a smooth start into the new season, please update your entry in the European League Teams and Active Admins forum to reflect the currently active admins in charge of your team in the EL.
I am optimistic that we can have finalized new divisions, schedules, and forums for the new year ready quite soon, within not so many days from now.
