No problem for me. I have plenty of other possibilities.
End of Pickle Jar?
Your club, your choice.
I've liked the club a lot and feel I've made a lot of friends, which I think other members can agree with. But at the end of the day: It's a chess club. It's not the end of the world if you shut it down. If you feel it's too much of a burden, go for it.
Just do what makes you feel the best. ![]()
@DillWithThePickle
If you're still open to receiving friend requests, I could send you one. I'm always down to make new friends who are fans of chess.
Yeah I think it would be smart to possibly give the club to someone else so when can keep it running. We could host a vote to see the new leader.
Good idea guys. @DillWithThePickle, If you're too busy to manage, make a trusted friend the new manager instead of erasing this great club.
I started this club roundabout a year ago, maybe just because I could, or to see what would happen, or because it seemed fun, and it was fun. We've enjoyed playing Vote Chess, Daily Matches, sharing games and puzzles, playing forum games, and even getting to know a bit about each other with a few chats and discussions. For me, this club has been fun to participate in and manage; however, recently I found it has lost its 'charm', and I find it to be more of a burden and less enjoyable. Right now, I really do not see any purpose in continuing this club.
I wanted to ask what you guys think about this.
Whatever happens, I would like to keep in touch so feel free to send a friend request.
