Engine downloading

I think this is the best place to post it, but if not please tell me. I wanted to make this post for what happened recently in the game against computers 2, that i told that i've downloaded an engine, and some of you (or maybe all, but only some talked) told me that what i was doing was wrong, and told me that if it was downloaded it shouldn't be used. I don't agree with this, but also don't want to, in certain way, make you do something you don't agree with, that would be accepting the analysis that i post. So in that case, i wouldn't have any engines to contribute with the group, and i think that we were linked here in part for that. So if that's the case, i should quit the group. So please tell me if it bother you this or what in order to know what to do

Thanks

Seidel, you don't need to leave the group, but you should use a free chess engine (like I do), if you don't want to pay for a commercial one. There are plenty of those out there.

I'm not really sure what is suppoused to be free and which one not. I've downloaded the Rybka 3 from someone who upload it and it's the one that i'm using right now. i don't intend to leave using it because i consider that is a very good one and very useful. So please tell me if it is or not, and if you still want me to post analysis from it in the games

Seidel, I don't think there is a free version of Rybka 3, so if I were you I'd delete it (unless you want to buy it) and would download a free engine + Arena. We (the team) already have a Rybka 3 anyway, so it'd be better to have an extra analysis from a new engine.

The reason why i have Rybka 3 is not only the team, but my chess learning too. So, i'm telling you, i don't consider as wrong having it, so i don't intend of deleting it. So i want you to tell me if you are going to take in account the analysis that i might post if i do them.

Thanks
