Error processing when going to home page

After I click the Home icon, it goes to my home page and I see a message in the red banner at the top for a few seconds "There was an error processing the request.  Please try again."  

Everything functions and appears as expected.

I am glad you brought that up, I am experiencing the same thing, but all is well here?? I am the same as you, windows 10 & chrome, this is the best it is doing since I was told to try chrome!!! Way back when I was using V2 I never had any issues, but I like V3 also and if it keeps working as is, I am a happy camper!

Yeah system change put in brought up many 500 errors and they will fix tomorrow likely.

All Beta Testers use a single webserver. This morning we discovered that this server has been having problems in a way that did not automatically notify our technical staff. Normally, this type of problem does not affect our players, since another server would step in and serve the request. But for Beta Testers, there is no other server.

We have restarted the server and we expect these 500 errors and "error processing request" messages will go away for you.

We will be investigating a way to get automatically notified about this sort of problem in the future. Thank you for reporting the problem!

Ok Good to hear that! Now that message in red at the top is not there (error processing) etc.  I feel things are really improving here, and will still be the best chess site!  Often time I am now starting to realize that many of the problems are at our end and not chess.com!
